That is exceptionally unfair to Faye and untrue. She did not resent Angus, she just could not follow him, uprooting her entire life to move do a different city and state to stay with the guy she had been dating for months. The person Faye resented for not being able to do that was Faye, which is why she was so self destructive... Because she though that as the 'good girlfriend' it was her duty to be happy and go along with Angus, even if the thought of it was tearing her apart.
