May is basically Dale's uninvited lodger isn't she? And Dale never asked for her, either as Virtual commpanion or when she got out of robot jail. So neglect is a bit strong isn't it?

Like was she human or AI?
For extra intrigue, was she Number 07, last seen hooking up with Jeremy the former assembly-arm?
