Didn't that happen, like, thousands of comics ago?

Sounded like Pintsize wasn't convinced, that's for sure!

shanejayell:
This conversation sounds oddly like 'Marten is such a sad sack he'll go along with whatever.'

Bad Dora! Bad (Are she and Tai married by now?)

Mr_Rose:
Twist: it’s a virtual interview because it’s a virtual position. They have a holographic terminal and nonsentient drone waldoes for remote workers. And local workers too. Because the stacks are held under high vacuum to preserve the paper better.

mmmm, vacuum would not be good for organics, pulls out all the volatiles.  Paper might better be kept in a neutral environment, some partial pressure of noble gasses, such as Argon.  Also need some humidity (30%?), being careful of the waters purity.

John Allenson:
Something I have to periodically remind Canadians about.
It wasn't all that long ago that we had Stephen Harper as the stodgy/weird/race-baiting Prime Minister while the USA had Barack Obama as the cool/photogenic/inspirational President.
The UK is still trying to get rid of Boris Johnson who is the closer to Trump than any Canadian political figure.
---------------
Back to the comic.  I'm with Clinton (with reservations) that Claire tends to catastrophise.  She should have already had THE CONVERSATION with Marten about getting a good job that requires her to move.
And I'm with Dora that this isn't the time.  Claire needs to clear out her emotional baggage first.  Adding anxiety isn't helping.
