The outcome of a death, whether mega or not, is usually a funeral. There are many bands that could be linked to funerals (ffaf being one) but I don't like them very much, so instead I'll use the album title link - Funeral - Oh yes... The Arcade Fire.

Possibly. But no, that's not what I was thinking of.

You see, the ironically named lead vocalist, Dead, committed suicide in 1991 by shooting himself in the head. Drummer Hellhammer apparently made a necklace of the fragments, and the guitarist (I believe), Eurononymous reportedly cooked and ate pieces of his brain (Mmmm...Kuru), and was then stabbed by the band's bassist, Count Grischnakh, because he thought Eurononymous had a more evil reputation. Go figure. Although some people think he did it, because he stabbed the guy 23 times, to out do the drummer of Emperor, Faust, who killed a homosexual acquaintance in the same fashion...what wonderful people, eh? Crazy crazy crazy story if I ever heard one.
