At the Drive-In - This Station Is Non-Operational

It's stupid. I don't need it, I've got every single song on this album. I own all albums I can purchase. But being a dumb fanboy, I bought it. Even the special edition with the DVD, which suchs because it only contans an electronic press kit and three videos.
Now, excuse me while I buy the Fearless release of Relationship Of Command, it has one song I don't have on CD yet. And yes, I already own the European Grand Royal release of this album.

The Arcade Fire - Funeral
The Fiery Furnaces - EP

I can't stop listening to Funeral, and the Fiery Furnaces album was only 8 dollars new!

Technically it's an EP, not an album. A 40-minute EP.

Finally picked up The Woods today. If music albums could reproduce, I would give birth to this album's child.

bought tom waits-night rider and 3 Eluvium CDs.

If by that you mean Tom Waits' "The Black Rider", then you just purchased a little chunk of genius my man/woman/other.

Yeah hell, said the name to myself wrong a while after I first ordered it and then looked back much later to realize I was mixed up but I thought it was named that so long  in my head that I keep going back to it.  I am still waiting for it in the mail actually.  *curses postal service*

The Cure -  Faith
and a Bella Lea EP, singer's the sister of the dude who sang in Engine Down (Apparently Denali is connected to them someways, but I don't know)

They are good live, but the EP is kind of bland.

Got a ton:

Andrew Bird - Weather Systems
Doug Martsch - Now You Know
Belle and Sebastian - Lazy Line Painter Jane EP
Sean Lennon - Into the Sun
Ben Folds Five - The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner
Steve Burns - Songs for Dustmites
The Walkmen - Bows & Arrows
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois(e)
The Decemberists - Picaresque
The Decemberists - The Tain
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - The Album

I bought the Steve Burns one for the hell of it, but it turns out it's pretty okay, except for the fact that I can't the image of Steve in the green striped shirt singing the songs with a blue dog accompanying him.

My dad is a wang about getting into new musics. I think he starts listening to about 1 new band every two years. But he does listen to some damn good stuff.

My madre on the other hand getes into stuff really easily. She even bought the tickets to the last Eels show we went to. And it was a killer show too.

I finally broke down and bought American Idiot yesterday, even though radio has completely ruined about half the songs on it for me. I have to be in the right mood for it, but "Holiday" is really catchy.

Also picked up Janet Jackson's janet and Love and Rockets' self-titled.

No, what's embarassing is what you bought.

I realize it's jest; however, if you disagree with anything besides Coheed and Jack Johnson then there are no words for you.

I personally don't like Bloc Party. But, that's just me and J Jaques. :P

Robert Johnson -  The Complete Recordings

ive had a chance to listen to the first disc.  sadly, the recording quality is not very good, although that should be expected considering this stuff was recorded in 1936/37.

I've been wanting to find more Murder City Devils, as well as Death Wish Kids. I have MCD's Thelma EP, but I'm having trouble finding anything by Death Wish Kids anywhere 'cept for Smartpunk, and I just can't bring myself to buy CDs off a website unless I have to.

i generally only order used cd's from amazon.  i consider anything over about 10 dollars for a cd excessive.  i was going to include a recomended murder city cd here, but they are all good so it doesnt matter which you get.
