I actually got it like a month ago, but it was still my most recent album purchase:

CHARGE!! by the Aquabats.

I thought they were a dead band, but it looks like they're back. First album produced by them in 6 years or something like that. There's no trumpet this time, so it's got a lot more of a punkish feel to it, but it's still delightfully Aquabattish. Fashion Zombies! and Awesome Forces! are fantastic songs.

A Love Supreme-John Coltrane

There were a few different versions of the reissue and I just got the cheapest one, I think it's the 2003 one.

I suggest you get Let Love In or The Boatman's Call. Very, VERY different albums, but both brilliant.

It turned out to be kind of a lousy shop and all those guys who were there to buy porn gave me the willies! Lots of hardcore and metal, most of it shite and no indie whatsoever. Basically meh, no Nick Cave no nothing. From now on I will buy everything over the internet.

I wouldn't trade that shop with my worst enemy, so much useless junk. My little brother thought the hardcore was great, but the metal was either Iron Maiden or some shit like Immolation with the odd Eros Ramazotti(italian pop singer) thrown in. On top of it I wasn't feeling well and all the porn got on me nerves.

Oh, well then I rescind my offer. Iron Maiden is awesome, but I can get them anywhere. As far as I can tell (being someone who can't stand indie) the shop here is pretty good. That's what all of my friends who listen to that ~~crap~~ perfectly valid style of music say.

Wire- Pink Flag.

Pretty good, but they're suffering from Helmet Syndrome. Must've been mind-blowing at the time, possibly the first ever art-punk record, but sounds nowhere near as unique anymore. damn shame.

If you're in the US, they recently released a double-CD called 'The Essential Iron Maiden'. Really, except for the exclusion of Hallowed Be Thy Name and Rime of the Ancient Mariner and putting in fucking Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter, it's pretty much as good of a collection as you could ask for.

But if you want to get an actual ALBUM (since you may not want to just get a teaser of each album and have to go back and pay for those songs a second time), I'd suggest to start off with Number of the Beast or Piece of Mind. Somewhere in Time is probably narrowly my favorite, but it's a lot different from their earlier, more 'classic' material.

Just judging from the fact a lot of bands that I like tend to be heavily influenced by Iron Maiden, or fans of them tend to be IM fans, I figured I should go that route for a change. Already got enough albums where it's just the greatest hits of guys who's only songs I really care for are their biggest numbers, like Aerosmith (Dream On = the fucking win), Guns and Roses (Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine, Paradise City, and Sympathy for the Devil are about the only songs they did I can stomach, to be honest. Power ballads start to drive you mad after awhile), and Pantera (the albums Cowboys from Hell and their best of album is plenty).

STUPID AS HELL best of albums I bought when I sit back and think about it include Led Zeppelin and Ozzy Osbourne. I should just get every Zeppelin album, because it's fucking Led Zeppelin, and Ozzy is just Ozzy. Bark at the Moon and I Just Want You are two of my most favoritest songs.
