satirical lyrics, combined with slayer influenced hardcore instrumentals.
honestly, as a fan of ETID, this track was not all that impressive.
5/10

Sorry my last review was so harsh.  Nothing personal.  Just honesty.

I'm not reviewing anything by the way, just wanted to clear that up.

ImRonBurgundy?:
Lucero- "I Can Get Us Out of Here Tonight"

the only thing i had heard from this band beforehand was their cover of "Kiss the Bottle", and this is pretty nice.  pleasant power pop.  reminds me of The Weakerthans somewhat.  9/10

Sounds in places like it could be an AFI b-side, if Davey smoked 60 a day. The guitars get more interesting around the chorus bit though, good riffery - shame about the emo yelping. Eminently listenable but loses a couple of points for the either-stoned-or-incompetent vocalist :( 5/10

Sounds like something you might hear on the radio.  Start off with some synthesizers, then cue in a drum loop and some husky female vocals, and bam!  You have yourself a pop tune.  Overall, not bad, but a little bland and not entirely to my tastes.  6/10.
