ImRonBurgundy?:
Bomb the Music Industry!- "Even Winning Feels Bad"

i'm torn on this one.  the music is really great and fun (i especially dig the freakout synth), but the singer's voice is grating as all hell.  i dunno.  maybe it'll grow on me.  6/10

Frankie Stubbs- "Sailboats"

Frankie Stubbs- Sailboats

Pretty damn good. You can't go wrong with gravel-voices and guitar Richard Thompson'd be proud of. Almost falls into faux-celtic warbling cliches, but has a lovely bittersweet feel to it. Fair play to anyone who can make folk music catchy.

7/10

Can -> Halleluhwah

Trust me- worth the length. If you don't find yourself dancing your arse off, well, you're probably dead inside.

Kai:
Can are amazing. This is all I have to add.

KharBevNor:
Long, probably too long, but not that bad. Sounded a bit like Bauhaus' dub tracks with a bit of extra rock'n'roll slooshed over the top. It also sounded a lot like four songs pushed together to be one track. Also, I'm probably dead inside, because there was no excessive dance-impulse. Not enough...oomph? No, that's wrong. Still, not bad. Not bad at all. Though, definitely too long, now I consider it. That detracts a bit. 7.5/10

On the subject of overly songs that we think should make people want to dance:

The Sisters of Mercy - This Corrosion

The other definitive goth classic. I absolutely cannot stay still whilst this song is playing.

Kai:
your kraut rock skills are lacking, Khar
