Holy jesus, I don't even remember how far the trip was exactly. All I know is that I went by myself, driving. From Laredo. Which was a 23 hour drive. Nonstop. I just had to see Radiohead that year. And it was so worth it. I was thinking about going again, but this year in no way compares to last year.

Saw the Oliva Tremor Control on April 15th, totally amazing.
Saw Keith Fullerton Whitman, Greg Davis and Birdshow Saturday night, also amazing. They all played together for about an hour and 15 straight, backing each other up. whew.

I saw that same tour, did Pere Ubu play with them at your show too? One of the best shows I ever saw.

I saw Autolux and the Moving Units play with the Secret Machines, who were just impossibly lame. Autolux's set might have changed my life
