The Last Show You Saw
Robbo:
Ephemeron in the middle of the corridor yestruday. Technically a private fan show, but it's all good.
Just me and seven other guys, as he stoud there with bass, amps, drum machine and FX set. Played about 60 or 70 tracks from No Death Til Grindcore, a 45 second Discharge medly, a bass solo with a coke bottle and a 5 min Drone version of S.O.D.'s Milk.
So, so undgeround.

...and you will know us by the trail of dead this past wednesday. me and my friend ben met the guitarist before the show. tod rock SO HARD GAH, one of the best shows i've been to.
along with muse this past saturday. i saw them on the campus invasion thingy with razorlight (who weren't bad, but i love muse way more). muse also rocked - kickass lightshow and everything. also won meet & greet passes for after the show. i can't believe i have a photo with matt bellamy. :) ah.

Last night was the kaiser chiefs and nine black alps, which turned out to be the indiest of indie gigs and exactly as I expected it to be.
I know I shouldn't be disappointed - I mean, it's not like they were gonna do some kind of prog epic show with fancy lights and naked transexual belly dancers, but...it would have been a substantial improvement.
I think I'm truly reaching the end of my tether with popular indie schmindie schmucks.
Tonight I saw The Longcut and the Little Flames, but felt really shit so sat down in the nexxt room, sticking my head round for long enough to see what they looked like. They sounded really good, I just wasn't in the right mood to appreciate it...
