I saw them in Austin last fall and it was a great show. It blew me away how exciting and fun their music is live, I don't know what I was expecting, but it was nothing like what I received. Plus I met this awesome chick at the show, which made it even better.

MFKZT. In my students union about an hour ago. Played for 25 mins of mental Grindcore, plus an awesome Bathory cover. My neck is gone again and I feel sick from the headbanging, it's great.

The last show I saw was Melt Banana with Ampere and a professional double dutch squad opening for them. I shit you not. It was a fucking awesome good time.
Also I have to second the fact that Dillinger sucks ass live. They used to be pretty good, but the new singer is such a jock I can't even stand it. The last time I saw them he was calling people "fags" and shit. What an asshat.

I just saw Star Scream, my mate's band at the Concorde, which was cool, they get better every time I see them, and pissed on the other acts playing - one key example being the weird rap/lounge group who played a CD of recorded applause between songs. Seriously. They were like Goldie Lookin' Chain but without the funny bits, or the danceable bits.
But Star Scream were ace.
