tabycat:
1-9: Peter Paul and Mary, Beatles, etc
9: Ace of BAse
10-14: Hanson
15-present: just about anything I can get my hands on that I think is decent form tool to aretha franklin to anything else!

SailorPunk:
ok, i have a very musical household, so my brother and i were raised on music....my sister they gave up on i guess...

the years here will be rather sketchy

0-9 = the beatles, the police, the who, elvis costello and joe jackson, michael jackson, cyndi lauper, the smurfs (shut up!! i was under 9)
9-12 = the beatles, the police, elvis costello, joe jackson, capercaillie, the rankin family, the barra macneils
12-14 = the cranberries
14-17 = spice girls, aqua, the cranberries, alanis morrisette, nofx
18-present = all of the above (yes ALL) plus alkaline trio, no use for a name, bad religion, taking back sunday, jimmy eat world, yellowcard, the killers, afi

so i like a lot of music....also classical and jazz are spinkled in there in healthy doses.
there is always music on in my house, it would be weird if it wasn't

if it's not on the stereo, it's my brother playing guitar or me playing piano or singing

LightThievesAll:
I'll make it short:

When I was a kid - Led Zeppelin
Since I was 12 - The Misfits
Since I was 16 - Johnny Cash/Misfits/Effigies

I'm 20 now and not much has changed, except that I now listen to a lot of metal on top of the punk, oi and country.  Hooray for Motorhead, Slayer and Maiden.

Sixleaf:
Everyone is going to hate me now.

?-12: The Beatles
12-14: Savage Garden
14-15: Barenaked Ladies
15-21: Sister Hazel
21- : The New Pornographers

No, and I'm not Canadian (although Michigan is close) and I don't know what the thing with Canadian bands with risque names is.

Johnny Cash+The Misfits+oi = one sexy equation.
