Tiger is COOL

I wasn't really reffering to the interface, but more that whole thing with the programs. Most linux distro's come with almost everything you'll ever need, with some exceptions. Mandrake is one of the best at that.

But this is about apple! I kinda thought that IIsi's would be a lil different from tiger, what with the 15 year difference. Actually I was sure of it after seeing screenshots of any mac and the friends computer as well(which had quite the good movie editor on it, much better than MS's crappy one).

Matteh99:
One thing that does suck about Tiger is it doesn't come with the iLife applications.  You are still stuck with your old copies or no copy if you were upgrading from 9.  How many people are going to run tiger on the same system the had 9 on any way?  Apple does make you keep paying for their stuff, like iLife, osx, quicktime pro.  And if it really pisses you off every thing accept quicktime pro and iWork is easy to steal :).  Not that i would recomend it. I want my apple stock to go up :).  I do think quick time pro should be free.  At least can they make it go full screen without buying pro?

If you hate stuff about the mac and want it changed send them feed back.  With apple I get the feeling that they actually listen to what their customers want at least feature wise.

Johnny C:
Does this thing have anything to do with a Windows-Box?

MilkmanDan:
No Johnny C, it doesn't. Mac OS X is a Windows free zone. Thank the lord.
I mean, I'm not trying to start anything here, but have you seen the new Longhorn screenshots? Fugly. That's all I'm saying.

est:
i dunno, that's just the default.  you can customise it, so whatever.
