What's your worst musical tragedy?

niatinari:
I've had CDs confiscated before, and books as well, but that was because they were "occult"  -_-

kikanjuuneko:
The only case of this happening to me was an old friend of mine losing my copy of Eminem's 'The Marshall Mathers LP' back in the day.

...Shut up, that was a good record.

Kai:

--- Quote from: Aphi ---=pouts= ALllllllllllllllllll my Thursday CDs, confiscated by my parents, who were thoroughly convinced that I was turning into "some whiny, wrist-cutting emo kid"--only slightly paraphrased from what they actually said.

Your parents did you a favor.

When my brother lost my cd case in January, which had every single cd I've boughten in it, and I didn't have all of them backed up.

Bad Samaritan:
When I was younger, i was obsessed with the Banjo. I loved banjo music to death. I even had an old record with nothing but banjo music on it.  My saddest day was when my father finally got sick of the record and broke it, telling me go listen to somethig else, like heavy metal.

And here I am now.

Oh man, I just imagined what would happen if my parents confiscated every album I own that was "depressive" or "occult".

Ouch.

What CDs were they, out of interest?
