What's your worst musical tragedy?
Kai:
No. to quote Dr. David Thorpe...
"No matter where you live, no matter how big or small the city, all the local scene bands are shit."
So there's nothing good on Purevolume. ever.
Devastator:
I lend cds out. And they never, never come back. Bye bye to all my Deftones, all my Nine Inch Nails, a Cursive disk, and all my Sleep Station...
SeanBateman:
Pseudo-musical, but super tragedy.
My friend was going to buy Wilco Tickets to a show that I was sure was sold out. And it was. However, there were also Mitch Hedberg Tickets on sale, the comedian of whom I am a huge fan. My friend came to school the next day and said that he hadn't bought me the tickets because "he didn't want me to go to the show alone."
That was the last time he preformed in Los Angeles before he died. I will never ever forgive my friend. Ever.
Spike:
You should have hit your friend, at least once. You should also offer an explanation, you know to be polite.
Hatebunny:
When I was in grade 5, someone stole my 'best of Weird Al: Volume 2' casette, which had the non-album song 'headline news' which was funny. Thus I was sad, because it was my favourite.
My second horror story: My girlfriend likes Nirvana.
What a horrible, scary story.
edit: there are no good rock-oriented bands online. I have only ever discovered good electronic music online, but never have I heard any kind of good rock type music on any site like purevolume.
