aw man, I was actually in a band once called 'This Years Broken Heart'. And we broke up, well basically I kinda grew out of emo and left...and then we re-formed with plans to make music that wasnt pretentious or classifiable, but then the others decided we should be called 'Friday Night Victims' and we just started playing a load of Taking Back Sunday covers. Dear lord.
I'm in a band now called India April. Not so much emo, more kinda indie. I feel so dirty...

...but Christmas is in winter, which is cold and dark like my soul. Plus, it's the best time of year to be miserable, because then you can resent everyone else for being happy.

Yes, I know I'm technically still new and shouldn't be posting here yet, but I just HAD to reply to this thread.

A friend of mine has been in 2 bands so far with two of the most emo names I could ever imagine.

First band: "Aorta Off", referring to shutting off the aorta.. and then your heart stops beating. Or something. I'm not sure what he was getting at.

Second band: "Only Ashes Remain". They did not last long. I don't think it is nessesary to explain why.
