Forgotten classics.
Sythe:
"The Best Things" - Filter. I never was really into Filter back in the day, but now I find myself listening to them more and more. I just chose "The Best Things" because the beat is stuck in my frontal lobe.
Not An Addict:
--- Quote from: La Creme ---Almost every song on Blondie's "Parallel Lines". It's totally awesome music (if a little simple) with a damn good singer who had a shitload of attitude.

Word. And a half.
I'm still suprised at how good "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters is. And you're going to laugh at me for saying this, but the local pop station was doing a '90s retro show and they played "Two Become One" by the Spice Girls, and I was honestly struck by how not-sucky it was. It's a solid song. In fact, for disposable bubblegum teenybopper pop, most of their stuff wasn't half bad in terms of melody and rhythm.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go stick my head in a bucket of bleach because I just defended the fucking Spice Girls.
Merkava:
--- Quote from: My Aim Is True ---Tom Lehrer is indeed good. if you like him also check out Guy Noir. It's in a similar vein.
Fucking nobody remembers Sugar. They had two GREAT albums, and some so-so EPs. But I hear Bob Mould is playing some Sugar songs on his current solo tour.

Ah, one of the Husker Du solo projects? I've heard of them, as well as the stuff by the drummer, who had one good album, I believe.
practicality:
--- Quote from: Saturday ---Lots of Songs by Nirvana.

Most definitally Smells Like Teen Spirit.
WITH THE LIGHTS OUT, IT'S LESS DANGEROUS
Kai:
THAT'S WHAT THAT LYRIC WAS? I thought it was something like... With the lights out, entertain us. or something. Stupid heroin addled Kurt.
