tha_nut:
Not a fan of remixes, personally i think that if someone is remixing something that really means that they have none of their own musical talent and must rely on the talent of other artists to get their inspiration.

AND THEN THERE IS COVER BANDS..... OOO dont get me started on cover bands........ <insert twitching eyebrow here>

I do although own one remix album which is the best of DEPESCHE MODE (wooooo) remixes.  its not bad for a remix album

Not really remix at all -- its mixology (ie. DJ set), but DJ Shadow's One Night in Bangkok is fucking amazing.  Not as good though . . . as Brain Freeze, which he did with Cut Chemist, and which is my favorite DJ set ever, bar none, OMGWOW.  Honestly, even if you would rather cut off your pinkie that find out what a "teardrop scratch" is, you have to listen to these sets -- they transcend the genre.

Listened to :wumpscut: Dried Blood of Gomorrha yesterday, and thanks Khar, it is truly excellent as well.
