Thanks for all the replies, guys! I really didn't expect to get a lot of feedback, heh heh

. I do think that my Asian name has more significance that my regular English-given name, but after reading all the advice I'll try for something that's less generic, though that actually is an oxymoron when it comes to Chinese names... heh.
I'm not sure if all of you knew, but Chinese parents will often PAY a professional to select the proper names for their kids. Superstitious Chinese people believe that names determine how lucky you and successful you are, and that if you're cursed with a bad name, your life will reflect that. Hence why they throw lots of money at essentially who I think are frauds... but meh. I'm not sure if other cultures do this, but I bet a lot of them place heavy emphasis on name giving.
I do love all the Asian art that you posted though, Manda... I'm especially partial to Japanese art, though I'm not Japanese myself. I can't link these pics directly (I hate you, flash player), but the Asian tattoos at the
London Tattoo Convention are gorgeous. I'm just relieved I didn't cave in and get a
Tokidoki tattoo just because I think the brand is incredibly cute (I'm a huge Tokidoki fanatic)... cause I definitely might change my mind about it 10 years from now.
PS: Asiansensation? LOL, I love it!!
Also, what about this tattoo? Who
wouldn't want a vagoo in their armpit??
