Thank you for the heads up sir. I suspect we may be the only two people on this forum who listen to Clan of Xymox, however.

Pink Floyd - Astronomy Domine

My music collection on random is a wondrous thing.

Makes us the coolest 2 people on the forum then. Can't wait to see 'em live at M'era Luna this summer :D hopefully they'll be high up the bill and have a long set... they were blinding headlining Gotham 6 last year. And since they weren't touring an album at the time, we got the whole best-of... hopefully they'll find time for an even mix of new shit and timeless classics in August :D

Lucky git. I should really try and get my ass to Gotham some time.

Sol Invictus - Kneel to the Cross

I repeat my comments on the random music.

Also, the 'Summer is a-coming in' chant...does anyone else reckon that's a subtle little Wicker Man reference? 'Sumer is a-cumen in' is the traditional folk song the people of Summerisle sing as Howie burns. I think doubling up the return of the invicible sun and classic film references is exactly Tony Wakefords style.

Gotham this year looked wank. Inkubus Sukkubus who are kinda past it, and a bunch of goth-rock nobodies. It's more fun when it's a mix of bleepy and rocky stuff - last year they pulled in CoX, Cruxshadows and Attrition ffs, and the unknown bands were quality too.

Infest is where it's at this summer ;) bleep bleep.

Yeah, but IS are one of my favourite bands of all time, and I do so want to see them live. Also, I don't mind me a bit of Gothminister, second rank EBM though it may be.

Skyclad - The Sinful Ensemble

I should download some crap music. This is like shooting bears in a barrel.

"Bonaparte's on brandy - he swills it down his throat,
Hitler sips a Pilsher while he tells a racist joke.
Mussolini leers at Maggie serving at the bar,
Stalin's out the back trying to sell a dodgy motor car.

Dear God above (if you exist),
hope you see the funny side to this.
Now don't get cross - don't bite your nails,
oh, Son of Man your mission failed.

Herod's in the family room to baby sit the first born.
Mengele's got a Gladstone bag of cotton wool and chloroform.
Vlad impales glace cherries on a stick just for a lark
when Pol Pot turns the lights out they'll play murder in the dark.

Genghis Khan just parked his lunch all over Nero's belly.
While the lions beat the christians thirty - nil live on the telly.
Caligula kills "My Way" on the karaoke stage -
young "Chezzy" Borgia's barred for life for drinking under age.

This is far more than just a joke.
Can't you see the fire for the smoke?
Choose any public house you please
and find dictators such as these."

I'm enjoying A Thousand Leaves right now. I'm thinking of buying it and maybe check out some other indie stuff. Also need to check out Israeli indie. We have a pretty big underground noise rock/indie scene. For a country that has about 2 or 3 CD shops that sell indie and underground music.

We are rockin' the house tonight.

Although I gotta say, Meat Loaf must have been thinner in high school. Thinner, or with free and easy access to Rohypnol.
