Orgy - Opticon

I had a discussion with someone on their biggest hit and decided I wanted to listen to them again. It's annoying that I like them so much because they're not really good at all.

That actually reminds me, I've been meaning to check them out.  Recommend a Nevermore album?

Right now I'm listening to Kyuss - Demon Cleaner.

EDIT: Now onto some Opeth!

Dead Heart in a Dead World is by far Nevermore's best album. Their recent is pretty fucking good too, though.

I'm a huge fan of This Godless Endeavor.  It's the only one I've heard, but it's fucking awesome and my friend whose musical opinion I hold very highly told me to get it.  Apparently his old drum teacher told him he didn't "get" Nevermore.  My friend told him This Godless Endeavor, which didn't leave his old teacher's car for a month.

Dead Heart In A Dead World is definitelly the first Nevermore album you should own. But, Dreaming Neon Black could be a great starting point too.
Both are my favorite Nevemore albums.

Blind Idiot God - Shifting Sand

Tori Amos - Goodbye Pisces(from The Beekeeper)

I must be the only one on this board who wants to admit that yes I do in fact enjoy Tori Amos muchly. Without being one of her fanatic, slightly unnerving girl fans that is. Am I right when I say that males do not generally like Tori Amos?

Misereatur: An obvious choice would be her debut Little Earthquakes which is perhaps her most straightforward and raw album. It is highly personal and catharctic but also incredible. Then later she became a little intellectual and cryptic, check out Scarlet's Walk for that part of her work. It is a lengthy album with no bad song on it, but it can be tiring in one sitting. The length is justified though as it is a loose concept album about a young woman's travels in USA.
Her cover album Strange Little Girls is also quite good, her cover of Raining Blood from it is kind of notorious. I personally prefer it over the original.
Basically if you can cope with her strong feminine outlook there should be something for you to enjoy :)

Frozen Plasma - A Second Of Life

Latest project from Vasi of NamNamBulu, this record just leaked and goddamn it's awesome. Khar (or anyone else), if you need another 70 minutes of futurepop goodness, have a hunt for this CD online (or wait for the official release date I guess). Brilliant.

If you want to totally destroy your appreciation of this song, listen to Spineshank's cover of it. One of the worst nu-metal tunes ever, and I actually liked one of their albums.
