The best man for spin-off projects is Dan Swano. He's been about five different things which are just him, and he's been in at least 20 bands, several of them pretty fucking notable, imo anyway.

Fucking hell... I'd forgotten how good this album is. So much fun. Such a mix of styles. Very very very good.

Release 1991, the year metal died. Good album, way ahead of it's time. Best J-Rock I've heard

I'm on a bit of a J-rock kick right now.

Skibas, I love that song. They made a flash video for it at www.rathergood.com and it has a Mars bar, but it has been photoshopped to say "Gay" instead of Mars. Pure secks.

I love that record!  I like it BETTER than Hate, actually.  The Delgados are one of my all time favorite bands, but their other four albums tend to get a heavier rotation on my stereo than Hate does.  I'm in the minority, I think.  Anyway, I can't wait to see what Emma Pollack and Alun Woodward get up too next.

Cradle of Filth - Queen of Winter, Throned

This still song still slays.

"Fires work in me,
A lithe supremacy
I tear asunder heaven as I would all enemies...
Impaler Lord,
Flesh upon the sword!
My lower lusts are sated, the greater herald war

I am thirst, spearheaded hunger
Sacrament and pain.
Nails raked in savagery
When the cruel Countessa came!

Exalt!
The Queen of death-white winter enthroned
Evil resplendent, in dusk red seething skies
Foam-flecked nightmares drag a moon
Of Draconian design"
