Ten in the Swear Jar - Accordion Solo

This is a *beautiful* album. I love experimental indie stuff. Makes happy. With...joy. This came before Xiu Xiu...I like it more it is too bad they only made one album before breaking up and making Xiu Xiu.

How similar/different is it from Fabolous Muscle era Xiu Xiu?

Angelspit - Head Kult

I can't really figure out what I think about Angelspit, I mean I don't enjoy it per sé but it intrigues none the less.

I never did get the point of this thread.

A serious question - do any of you actually give a crap about what anyone else is listening to? It looks like some discussion has been inspired. Because if so, fair enough. But countless other boards I go on just consist of people posting the song they're listening to and nobody gives a damn.

I pretty much always read what other people are saying, and if I feel I have a worthy response to what that person is listening to (or says), then I'll throw in my two cents.

I should be doing my homework, but instead I'm listening to an audio bok thing of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I'm totally at the part where they're walking into the Casino near the beggining. Fuck. Yeah.

I know I'm a few months late, but I've really been getting into Sufjan Stevens in the last few days. "Chicago" is a great song; I ought to buy Illinois this coming Saturday. I saw it for $18 at JB Hi-Fi, which is cheaper than you usually get newish CDs for.

To eliviate the pain caused by trying to remember the extremely long names and functions of protists I put on as much dancey, electropop songs as I could find on my computer. I've got a good mix of Roysopp, Miss Kittin, Ladytron and Fischerspooner going....and wierdly that one Britney Spears' song Toxic.

I read someone says on this board ages ago that this album was essentially about fucking. It doesn't sound that way, but maybe there is an oddball sexbomb hidden in Björk. Then again perhaps not ;)

the Mean Reds. ridiculously ridiculous and good music. they're classified as Childrens Music on iTunes and their myspace says inspired by Bodom. in reality it actually is somewhere in between these two polar opposites. unfortunately these guys recently broke up. they were all only like 19 or something anyway so what can you expect? but it was good while it lasted.
