The fancy Cowboy Bebop theme song.

'Yoko Kanno - Tank!' is I think what you were looking for.

John Williams - The Imperial March

DUUUM DUM DUUUUM DU DU DUUUUUM DU DU DUUUUUM

It's "The Seatbelts" not Yoko Kanno.

I happen to be listening to Rush by The Seatbelts currently.  Cowboy Bebop OST 1

If you want to be FUCKING retarded I think it's Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts, though as she's credited as the artist for all the OSTs and wrote the music, and is a member of The Seatbelts even if you don't put 'Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts', you could take it either way.

Kraftwerk - "Computer Love".

Bloody Coldplay, how dare they use the riff (would you call it a riff?) in that "Talk" song of theirs. The Kraftwerk original is so vastly superior.

Speaking of Kraftwerk, has anyone else seen the video to "The Robots"? It's great. They.are.the.robots.

Well, if you're listening to 3IoB and haven't got them, you can go for a few of the classics that they most expertly rip off. Fistpumping eighties (and one barely nineties) classics:

Accept - Metal Heart
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Judas Priest - Painkiller
Manowar - Hail To England
Mercyful Fate - Melissa
Running Wild - Under Jolly Roger
Saxon - Denim And Leather
Twisted Sister - Stay Hungry

You've given me a desire to put my balls against the wall myself, now.

Viking Skull - Beer, Drugs and Bitches

I've mostly been listening to the new Metal Hearts album, since we've got a show with them next week, and then I've returned to my Cat Power days of a few years ago, revisiting her old material.  I've also been listening to Sorry About Dresden's "Rock School" 7" split with Strunken White, which have been somewhat synthesized into one band as En Garde these days.  I don't know if there's a single other Sorry About Dresden fan on this forum, and I wouldn't be too surprised if there wasn't.  Even for all the people that know the Saddle Creek roster well, I seem to be one of three who care about Sorry About Dresden.  It's the band of Matt Oberst (Conor's brother), and it doesn't sound anything like Conor's material, so check it out either way, because it's something different.

I also haven't been able to put away the Grizzly Bear album that came out this past summer.  It's so fantastic.

Oh, they know.  The new Criteria t-shirts say "Ride The Snake" on them too, for whatever reason, and we were joking about it after the show.  That phrase is used for possibly that sole reason.
