Well, what station do you listen to?  granted, it's probable that no one else will get said station, but still, lets hear it ;)  also, if the station has a web-site post it here as well.  Maybe posting a region with it would help too...
anyway...

93.3 FM WMMR and 94.1 FM WYSP (both are around the Philladelphia Pennsylvania region)

they both play alot of classic rock, but sometimes a few indie titles work their way into the mix.  regardless of what the play, they are quite awsome stations.  WMMR has the preston and steve show now, and they are quite hilarious (in fact, I recomend the pod-cast)

98.3 - www.theclassicrockexperience.com

I love this station - it's another classic rock station, obviously, and it's stationed in the northwestern PA area (Bradford), so we get it pretty well, living near the border of New York. Some of you might not like this station, though, because they played Stairway to Heaven last night.

I've gone right off JJJ.

I don't listen to the radio often, but if I do, its:

fbi 94.5

2SER 107.3

You'll have trouble getting either if you're not in Sydney, but 2SER streams.

88.9 WERS- Emerson College, no ads and an awesome variety of music
104.1 WBCN- The Rock of Boston
101.7 WFNX- True Alternative is what they call it, its got some pretty good stuff on most of the time.
100.7 WZLX- Boston's Classic Rock, its alright i guess.

otherwise, my friend got XM radio for his car so i've been listening to a whole lot of jazz and blues since those stations are the best stations on XM.

NPR.  Though the "hipsterization" of NPR over the last couple years kinda bothers me.  Sometimes I want some Tchaikovsky on a Sunday morning!

Oh, and Foothill College radio (89.7 on the SF Bay Peninsula) had a pretty nice playlist, but I don't get that now that I've moved farther up the bay.  Pity, because I do get my old university radio station but the sets they play are pityingly uneven.

Triple Z
Triple J

I pretty much switch between them, Triple J plays really uninteresting down-tempo shoe-stare crap sometimes, and Triple Z plays a lot of terrible electro and punk, but I find by constantly switching between them on a fairly regular basis, I wind up with one pretty goddamned awesome radio station

I usually listen to WDET 101.9--broadcasted in Detroit by Wayne State University.

Granted, they've scrapped a lot of their music programs in favor of their droning arch-liberal news coverage... it sucks, but I still like to listen to Liz Copeland's 12-5 AM show when I can't sleep.

Why? Because I'm on it! And so are a fair few other people I know. It's our university radio, so we can play whatever the hell we want. I'm on at 1.30AM to 3.00AM on Tuesdays. I play music no-one likes. Seriously though, we won best student radio in the country last year, so I guess we are actually quite good.

Other than that, I listen to The Breezeblock on Radio 1, a little bit of 1Extra, and a bunch of pirate radio stations. Especially Rinse FM.

Looks like there's a few good radio stations around in Australia...just a pity there isn't many in Adelaide. :(

I listen to Triple J in the mornings, but in the afternoons I tend to flick around between Triple J, the commercial stations and occasionally Three D Radio when it works.

I'm not really that keen on music radio. I listen to last.fm sometimes (I get kick-ass stations because I'm a subscriber) but apart from that there's nothing I can think of I like. I tried listening to Kerrang once, and even on the so-called 'Metal Show' many of the choices were fucking shit, and not at all metal. I don't find music radio very appealing anyway. I like listening to whatever I feel like, and as that isn't anything I've ever heard played on the radio anyway, I normally just play my own music. As for speech radio, now that's different. BBC Radio 4 (best broadcast communications channel of any sort in the world), BBC Radio 7 and One Word.

I will however, ask if anyone else is listening to BBC Radio 1 atm. It's constantly on in the art room (Hey, better than Power FM) and at the moment it seems to almost entirely consist of one of the presenters pimping out her goddamn myspace account. RUPERT MURDOCHS FUCKING WHORE!

Those were my stations of choice when I lived in the Philly area, up until a few months ago, along with 95.1 WZZO (the Lehigh Valley rock station, with the same basic selection as MMR and YSP). Now that I'm down here, the only station with a similar playlist is 93.5, WZBH. It's got a pretty good mix of classic and modern stuff. The DJs suck, though. I miss Pierre Robert.

Despite his brilliance, it's not necessary to have heard him. Just read a few clippings from his wikipedia article:

Quote
John Peel brought sixties culture to a generation of young Londoners through his Perfumed Garden on Wonderful Radio London, playing classic blues and folk music as he gently introduced groundbreaking music of Tyrannosaurus Rex and Captain Beefheart (for whom he acted as chauffeur during his 1969 UK tour), esoteric performers like Ron Geesin and John Fahey, and broke new British bands like Family and Fairport Convention. His show influenced the rise of most subsequent styles of rock music.

Quote

Peel was the first to play the Sex Pistols' "God Save the Queen", in December 1976, having played "Anarchy in the UK", which was banned from the BBC's daytime playlist, a month earlier. In 1976 he was also the first to play Bob Dylan's Desire in the UK, despite Capital Radio having exclusive permission from CBS to be the first to do so. Peel got hold of a copy of the record and, to beat Capital, played it in full, separated by a reggae track while he changed the record over. Peel was to show this disregard for record company rules again when in 2003 he played three tracks from The White Stripes album Elephant before its official release date, resulting in him being threatened by lawyers for the record company V2.

Quote

Many bands and artists of many different musical styles from different decades credit Peel as a major boost to their careers, the list includes T-Rex, David Bowie, The Faces, Bolt Thrower, The Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, The Clash, Napalm Death, The Undertones, Buzzcocks, The Cure, Joy Division, Six By Seven, Def Leppard, Pulp, Orbital, The Smiths, FSK and The White Stripes. Peel's reputation as the most important DJ breaking unsigned acts into the mainstream was such that in 1983 unsigned artist Billy Bragg drove to the Radio 1 studios with a mushroom biryani and a copy of his record after hearing Peel mention that he was hungry, the subsequent airplay launching his career.

I listen to local conservative talk radio because it's hilarious.  890AM hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity and other local blowhards.  It's pretty entertaining, as I said.  Also, there's, like, 590 or something.  It's a newer station that doesn't have any big names but they're all reaallllllyyy aggressive about their conservatism, which is sometimes even better.
