Werner Herzog movies would NOT be the same without Popol.
It took me a while, but I absolutely love Belle and Sebastion now. It also took me a while to really dig Soundtrack of Our Lives.

Funny. When I'm depressed, the first thing I do is put on some EElS because it cheers me up. Despite the sad subject matter, I always find it has this feeling of 'I can overcome everything that's thrown at me'.
Except for the first half of Electro-shock Blues. That's some suicide causing stuff!
Synchronicity:
Led Zeppelin for sure. I'd, of course, heard Stairway to Heaven and a few other songs but since my friend was always talking about how great they were I decided to listen to them. I listened to the album Houses of the Holy a few times and thought they were pretty boring. A few months later I listened to them again and now I just love them.
Also Iron & Wine bored me to death when I first heard them, but now I love them as well.
