Big Day Out

That story was about how the Beasts of Bourbon showed up Nirvana.

I liked his iggy and ramones stories. He's an interesting guy.

--- Quote from: Inlander ---I can actually hear it from my house right now - it's only a few blocks away.  But the line-up just isn't that exciting this year: I don't like Franz Ferdinand, I wouldn't have minded seeing Iggy & the Stooges but I can live without it, and I'm seeing the Go! Team do a stand-alone gig in a few days' time.

Youth Group are great live, but I've only seen them in a fairly small venue.  I'm not sure how well they'd translate to a festival stage.

You are doing a great thing by seeing Go! Team. est and I saw them last week and they put on one of the best shows I've seen in a while. :D

also, we missed out on going to the Big Day Out because all the decent bands showed up in the last announcement.  the initial lineup wasn't all that impressive.  i kept waiting and waiting and waiting, then suddenly there were a bunch of cool bands on board and Sydney was already sold out.

and apparently every one of the thursday night releases sold in like, 5mins.  however, neither myself nor a friend could ever even get into the site during those times.  no freaking idea what really happened with that shit.

fuckers.

Also, how do you fall asleep during the Go! Team? Seriously!

Seriously, after Sarah Blasko, I was spent. I had been on my feet forever and I'd seen set after set and then I just zonked out, i found a bit of shade next to a Kebab stand and dozed off whilst my friends watched The go Team.
Like I heard them and shit, but I was off in another world.
