Okay, maybe hate is too strong a word. But i still dont like Apple. I dont like there products, i dont like the way they advertise, i dont like the way that unlike a PC there is a lot less products that are compatible with macs compared to PC.

And with the firefox thing... maybe im wrong, but i wouldnt really know. It's still related to macs, i avoid them. I like to be able to right click with my laptop.

... But here's the thing. I'ts more related to Unix/linux than either of the two. You can get internet explorer on macs too. and Microsoft office products. But this isn't hte place for this thing. THe point is, actually know what the hell you're talking about when you start to talk.

I enjoy a good deal of those songs without reservation. I've listened to Newsom on repeat for hours at a time. I guess we aren't coming from the same place here.

Hehe, yeah.  The second half of my list is the kind of hell where all I'm stuck with all the music listeners in the world and the Devil is playing shit that everyone fucking LOVES, but I despise all of it.  Now THAT'S hell.

Plus I wanted to say fuck you to all those songs.  No offense.

I'd get used to any song. 'Cause I'm used to blocking out noise 'cause of where I live. So having music playing over and over wouldn't affect me.

Of course, in Hell, they would gouge out your eyes and tear out your tongue and oratory recepticles and strap you to the ground so that the only sensation you would be able to have would be that of listening to "Take On Me" over and over again into eternity.

Any dub or indie. Seriously, hate that shit.
Dub is just to goddamned slow and no one seems to have noticed that it's all exactly the same...
Indie is too bland. It's exactly the same as top 40 only they're singing about pandas and boats instead of highschool and girls.
Those two for the rest of eternity would drive me to madness.
That and Christian goth.

The Proclaimers - 500 Miles
Whitney Houston - Greatest Love of All & I Will Always Love You
Nickleback - Just that part that says "Are we having Fun yet"
Gwen S. - Hollarback Girl -- It would spell B-A-N-A-N-A-S over and over again
R.E.M. - Shiny Happy People and Stand (and I like REM)
B-52's - Love Shack
DJ Sammy - That cover of Brian Adams "Heaven"
Jessica Simpson - These Boots were Made for Walking

The Decemberists will play in my personal hell. Colon Meloy's fucking shitty monotone horn noise will play in front of his serviceable band who strive to be shallow immitations of true talent. The fact that Colon Meloy gives me a headache and is the only one bringing down the band will hurt me more than any Hawthorne Heights song. Oh, and the praise. The cruely misguided praise. God, Colon Meloy sucks.

By all accounts true talent does not exist and people should just use playback all the time because they cannot sing or play for shit.
And yeah Colon Meloy sucks big time, his good twin Colin Meloy is so much better if you ask me ;)

I think the songs that would represent my personal hell would be anything by My Chemical Romance, Slayer, or any death/black metal shit. I hate death metal and black metal so much. Simple plan's discography would be in there too, and that song that goes "Don't you wish your girlfriend was wrong like me..." . And any late No Use for a Name stuff, partly because it's so awful compared to their early stuff, because their early stuff was so damn good.

Holy GOD that is a humongous avatar.

My hell would consist of nothing but the theme song from "the OC" and iron and wine's entire songlist. Perhaps some creed thrown in for good measure. I wouldnt put it past the devil, that psychotic sonofabitch, to play some Avril and Jesse McCartney as well. Fucker.

And Ironoxide887, if khar rapes you with a stick, I'm beating you with it afterward. Skyclad is awesome.

1) MacArthur Park
2) Sweet Home Alabama (I'm FROM THERE, and I hate that song)
3) Anything by any band whose name involves some form of mental issue (i.e. My Chemical Romance, Mindless Self-Indulgence, etc)
4) Wonderwall. I expect this is the song that gets PA'ed throughout the entirety of Hell, regardless of the damned's actual taste in music.

And don't hate something just because they fall into a certain genre. That's just close-minded. Next you'll be hating people just because they have a different skin colour.

oh, i see what you mean,
just like all metal sounds exactly the same,
and like all punk, all just powerchords and people singing bullshit!
and like all country, just twangy guitars with people singing over them.

i dont know for sure, but that seems like hating rap for no real reason, other than having listened to a couple of the more popular artists who you happened not to like.

I think I can pretty much end this thread with 1 song... disney's - It's a small world. I believe that song was created by satan himself for exclusive use in hell but was leaked to the mortal relms for one reason or another. I suspect this song was meant to be put on every list mentioned above but people were too mortified by this song to type out its unholy name.
