Patrick:
I adore Alien Ant Farm. They get a lot of unnecessary crap for "Movies" and "Smooth Criminal" but if the whiners saying this had ever actually listened to that album they'd have a different point of view. "Attitude" is one of my favourite songs. The drummer is a fuckin' virtuoso and I love the entire half hour of music from "Attitude" to the end.

Tom:
The Zutons, but now i mention it I don't feel guilty that much 'cause they're really fun.

+1

Their second album was pretty good too, I never heard the third...

Only by people who have no idea what the fuck they're talking about.  Prince is one of those musicians pretty much everyone I know agrees on.  Different people like different phases of his stuff, though.  I think his best album is his first, Dirty Mind, which is basically a punk rock soul album.  I also enjoyed his early-90s singles like "Seven" and "My Name Is Prince".

Also, he fucking shreds on guitar.

Patrick:
"My Name Is Prince"? Now THERE'S a timeless album title.

I, for one, am not ashamed to admit my love for Billy Talent, as well as just about any country music pre-1998. Which is funny, because most of the Alan Jackson that I love is post-1998 (he had his "let's play hokey shit" period before he really blossomed as a songwriter), and my favourite Billy Currington came out in 2005.
