Misereatur:
Team Sleep.
A trip hop project by Chino Moreno (Deftones) DJ Crook and a guitarist friend of Moreno called Todd Wilkinson.
Basically, they sound like the bastard love child of Deftones's White Pony album and Massive Attack. And it sounds great.
Realesed only one album though, but its well worth the money.
Red Sparowes.
A weird sludge/metal/post-rock/instrumental band with Bryant Clifford Meyer (Isis), Josh Graham (Neurosis), Greg Burns, Andy Arahood (Angel
Hair) and David Clifford.
Their album is toatlly instrumental, in the vein of bands like Isis, Neurosis, Godspeed! You Black Emperor and Explosions In The Sky.
Creating soundscapes thath describes the destruction of earth. A kind of Ambient Metal, if you will.
Their album is realesed in several versions, with one or two songs different in each.

Bacically BSS and the New Pornographers include the entire Canadian music scene...
Not really a side project because Q and Not U aren't together anymore but I just got Ris Paul Ric's Purple Blaze. Its pretty good but nothing at all like his old band. Its almost classical guitar-post rock at times. Very good though.
