And how the hell can somebody go 2 years without playing any classic rock whatsoever? Shit man. Classic rock is almost nothing BUT guitar.

The first song I learned was Mayhem - Deathcrush. Then 'Anarchy in the UK', then, as far as I remember, Burzum - War.

Try learning 'Love Will Tear us Apart'. It's exceedingly simple, and it sounds great.

Any and all System of a Down. Easier than trying to get laid in Columbus, Georgia.

System of a Down is only good guitar music if you mean easy to learn, which I'm hoping you do.
