I got my hair cut for the first time in...5 months? I went in with my holy crap hot mess hair and asked my stylist to do what she thought would look good but still have it be ok for growing out. I like it.

So my hair is growing out and I've got a haircut booked - question is, I'm not sure weather to keep it in a longer style and possibly grow it out - the last few summers I've gone away so got it cut short - this summer I'm just in the country so no real need for short hair.

Also:

Do I look like Jack Black?

Its gotten to the point where strangers at work tell me I look like him.

I really, really don't see it.

I mean people have been telling me pretty much since I was 15-16, so 4-5 years now. I guess its just gotten old, but I like to actually have hair. Plus, my stupid Dracula hairline makes it so that I have to have a fringe or I just have a lot of forehead on show.

But thanks, its not really a problem - I just want people to see me as me and not as that guy who looks like Jack Black. Apparently when my girlfriend went to a party last night and somebody asked after "her boyfriend, Jack". I'm Richard. D'oh.

I actually like JB, I just like to think I have a personality. I'm thinking I'll keep it relatively in this style but just so it can grow out a bit better.

If anybody else has the super-pointy-hairline problem, I'd love to hear what you do with your hair.

fuckin  :psyduck:

I guess its all part of a bigger picture. I don't CARE, I just care that strangers make an effort to tell me. If I totally overthink it, I kind of feel as though my identity is being shat on because people compare me to somebody else, and when I introduce myself people say "ah we should call you Dick!" to which I should respond "ah I should call you cunt!" but I'm never so rude.

Well, cheers for the observations  :-) could be worse, I could be a Kyle Gass lookalike. Think I'll just go with the inevitable and just keep a longer style.

I got a haircut today, my hair was getting horrible shaggy.

For some reason, even against all instructions to the contrary, hairdressers/barbers give me a haircut that invariably lands me "Sheldon-From-Big-Bang-Theory" comparisons. Grr

So I did this tonight and I did kinda fuck up but it wasn't too bad, basically I managed to shave a patch on my left temple way too short and also I made a right fuck up of the back of my head and I can't get a proper view of it but I'm pretty sure it's crooked as all shit. All said though, it is the first time cutting my own hair so I am pretty stoked with the results, I was expecting to do something far worse.

Here be pics:

Definitely not as sexy as Ryan, but I do the best I can with what the good lord gave me

New haircut also helps to facilitate my award-winning Don Draper impersonation

Here's that patch on the side I was talking about

Don't leave the patch, you're better off shaving it all the way down to the patch length and blending the top. It'll be sorta short for a while but it'll grow out better and it's so hard to get it even after it's grown a bit. Also you get bonus rockabilly haircut for like a week while it grows up.

It looks nice! I'm just saying as someone with the experience of the self haircuts you're gonna want the clippered parts to be even.

Because everyone knows the best part of soccer is watching grown men flop on the ground and cry like babies the instant anything comes within six inches of them.

There should be a charity event involving Buck Shelford punching soccer's most notorious floppers in the face. Millions would be raised.

I'm going in to get a haircut tomorrow, maybe I'll post pictures. It's similar to Ryan/Dovey's except shorter than Ryan's and less effort than Dovey's.

Alright internet, I am feeling the urge to change my hair colour. My hair is naturally blonde and I wont go back to that, but it tends to throw a lot of red when I dye it brown, so I figure i may as well stop trying to combat it and maybe try and find a nice red to see what it looks like. I've been red before, but it was super bright and not really the right shade.

This is a recent picture of my hair:

I'm thinking somewhere in between these two:

I would go with the darker shade at first.

Red hair is fun! I kind of miss having auburn hair sometimes.

Red hair is the best. Emma Stone is naturally blonde too, so you could check out some of the other red shades she's done to get some idea how they would go on your coloring.

May that is the Amy Pond action figure and I need one to go with my Doctor. Or actually just a Rory one would be fine.

Jamie I think you should definitely go for it, it is just hair dye and red looks great when you cover it with brown anyway.

SHAVE YOUR HEAD!

I kind of miss having inch long hair. I can't pull off a shaved head because I have a small head, but I know that feeling of really wanting to just shave it all off. Bald ladies are beautiful.

Hey guys, hopefully I am not reviving an unwanted thread here... I know it's been a while since anyone posted..

I recently got this haircut. Short in the back, longer in the front, with bangs. It's a lighter brown in this pic but I recently dyed it a dark chocolatey brown.

And I need to know what I can do with it. Right now the only two styles I have are bangs down (as above) and bangs to the side, like this:

I want to switch it up a little now that my hair is short and relatively easy to deal with. Ideas?
