I was thinking Juliana Hatfield but I couldn't remember her name. I bought a solo cassette of hers, probably her first one, when I was a freshman in college. I went home for Christmas and played it while I was cleaning my room, and my brother and sister mocked me MERCILESSLY when I sang along with it.

I tried to listen to it a year or so ago and it made my ears bleed. Blood. Dripped out. Swear to god.

Blood did not actually drip out of my ears.

That was actually me, only I was sleeping above everyone on a bunk bed, not standing over them, and by breathing heavily I meant I was snoring so loudly it made Tyler consider Homicide.

Mr. zerodrone, I believe I could be your friend. We have absolutely opposing taste in everything, movie, books, video game and you are far more schooled in music than i will ever be (or care to be), so it would be just like all of my other real life friends. Have i ever told you guys that a Jeep Wrangler is my dream car? Seriously too, not just because I'm shamelessly trying to get one from zerodrone (though I am, oh god, I am).

Almost all of my close real life friends have different taste in music than I do. Not opposite, but substantially different. My best friend, yeah, we pretty much like a lot of the same things, but he doesn't like much post-rock or the heavy psyche-stoner stuff like Black Angels or Boris. But yeah, one of my closest friends likes Mindless Self Indulgence. I think that speaks for itself.

I recently met a real life Millionaires fan! She is the girlfriend of a new friend of mine. I was pretty amazed that she had even heard of them since they mostly listen to, I don't know, jam bands and stuff. I'm fairly certain the only "indie rock" type music they even know exists is what they've heard on Rock Band.

I make real life friends so easy, apparently I'm kind of a dick on the internet or something. I assure you I'm seriously incredibly nice, unless, you know, someone gets me going on a rant, but I can usually be humorous enough to keep people who disagree with me from actually getting mad about it.
