Ok, I voted yes, but it was only what will happen in my dreams. Jeph never gives me what I want, and I totally want Faye to hook up with Angus. So I'm sure he'll never write it.

Faye is a pain in the ass, but I think it would totally go against character for her to hook up with Angus just to piss off Sven. The way I see Faye, she's too upfront to pull a bullshit game like that.

I'm not saying she wouldn't try dating Angus on the rebound. Now that she's gone for it once, she might be more open to getting with someone in future. She might decide to give Angus a chance,

I don't really think they'll hook up the way she hooked up with Sven. If anything, she'll agree to a date with him. It would probably be awkward and not happen again, but it would be a step forward for Faye.

Oh, I can see Faye totally doing something shitty like that, though physical violence is more her style. But I don't think she'd use Angus for that purpose--she's more likely to use someone Sven knows (and I don't think there's been anything in the comic so far that suggests that Sven and Angus have ever even met, though I could have forgotten something).

Totally agree. Besides, she still has a lot of intimacy issues so she's not going to just jump some guy for the sake of it- it's not like banging Sven has solved all her problems, right? ...and she isn't attracted to Angus, never was. Come on, the guy is such a loser... I never liked him very much and the girlfriend bashing routine is a total no-no in my book.

True, as far as the reaction part goes. It's often not laudable, but it is normal. I don't think Angus is trying to be malicious. I'm guessing he quite suddenly discovered or acknowledged this 'quality' about the girl, and is trying to convince himself he was right to end things, a conclusion his housemates have tried to encourage. Down doobie-doo-down-down* and all that.

Rereading this strip, I'm not so sure this is a come-on to Faye, either. Sounds more like Angus is saying he missed his 'friend,' and seeing her again is an up side to the train-wreck he just experienced. And really, that's how he seems to be dealing with Faye: as a friend. I mean, even I know, "Hey, Baybee, I'm single again, wanna be my rebound?" is not usually a successful tactic.

Since she's going to be chaste anyway, Faye converts to Catholicism to become a nun. She gets regulated to secondary character status as 'Sister Faye,' dropping in CoD from time to time, saving souls with acerbic wit and a fast fight hook.

This becomes home base for Hanners' clone, who we haven't seen since Hanners' introductory 'bar scene' with Marten. Hannerclone begins dating Angus for reasons no one could satisfactorily explain, even if they knew about it, which they don't, because Hanners tells no one, and confusing hijinks ensue. It's Days of Our Lives (in the '70's back when the nun/Horton was on) meets the Parent Trap!
