I can partially answer that. He's using Windows XP, but either Litestep or Blackbox as a shell.

That would be lightstep from the looks of it. Blackbox is much cleaner. you can hack in graphics in to your toolbars and what nots. but I tend to keep it clean. [I am a bb user, BB4win == best ui ever]

My new desktop consists of the one I posted pages back, except I'm on a huge widescreen monitor and my start bar is now on top.

I couldn't be bothered to upload it properly and make a thumbnail, so here:

It's my MacBook, which I love. The background is a tweaked one, with my schedule, the times at which the stores around here close and which days I can download new episodes of certain shows that I always mix up.

concept art from EVE Online - they want to introduce the ability to depart your ship and walk around the stations using procedural animation, which should be insanely awesome if they pull it off. the art's one of the concept sets done by Asgeirjon (EVE's concept artist)

also find included at the top of the screen a list of the games I play.

Nice fooby.
Although I stopped pimping my fooby a while ago now using a standard (selfmade) columsui playlist and a hidden playlist switcher/browser. It's so much easier to use and uses almost no CPU or memory =)
