Anyone here listen to Enon?

I'm going through this major Enon-listening phase at the moment. I'm really liking the album Believo! They're not pioneering a new genre or anything but there's just something so pleasing about them.

I have heard High Society and I really like the song Believo! but that's about the extent of it. I might actually need to hear the album Believo!

I've got both Believo and High Society.  Good stuff, man.  I've always been a big fan of their song Natural Disasters.

Love 'em, they are very versatile and awesome.

I have Starcastic, High Society, and Lost Marbles and Exploded Evidence

Haven't heard much by them. I'll Believo it when I hear it...

Man, they seem like good act live too. Why don't they seem to get much attention?

Hah yeah, there wasn't a single Enon review I've ever read in which they weren't being compared to Brainiac. I've only heard Smack Bunny Baby, but I'll check out Bonsai Superstar, maybe then I'll get a better grasp of how significant Brainiac was X_X;

Enon are great. and i can confirm that they are indeed great live. at the show i went to, one of their electronic/keyboard/michine thingies broke, and so they changed the whole show without hardly missing a beat. they just got more spazzy and less electro. which was awesome.

enon have the unenviable task of being compared to brainiac because head enon fellah john schmershal was the guitarist for the best two albums. brainiac are not a band you want to be compared with because they were sortamegaultra. just incredible. one of the best bands america has produced in twenty years. go and find the album 'bonsai superstar' if you don't believe me. or just download the song 'vincent come on down' for a taster.

Agreed.

I love the really poppy stuff Enon did on theif first record; "Conjugate the Verbs" and "Get the Letter Out" == SO good.
