You should be paying more attention to the Gwar shirt. (woo)

Lose the facial hair... except the 'burns. Goatees always just end up making otherwise attractive dudes (which you are!) look like pedophile stereotypes.

For me, it's more about the fact that I hate shaving, and not having to do it regularly outweighs any downsides to having a beard. Also, I personally feel I look better (or at least just as good) with a beard than I do cleanshaven, and others agree with me.

WHAT IS WITH YOU PEOPLE AND FACIAL HAIR

I believe it is some sort of ritualistic behaviour, dating back to the days where we all lived in caves. Whoever had the most hair in various places, won.

Mainly because the hairy fuckers didn't die of cold during the winter.

That behaviour has instinctively carried over, into this segment of the male population. Metrosexuals seem hell-bent on removing facial- and body hair, while the good lads on this board embrace our true nature as hairless-but-still-pretty-darned-hairy Apes.
Give it time, and we'll start comparing chest hair..

Led - you look better with short hair.
Anyways - Great cut! I really like it!

I got a "haircut" yesterday. Basically I got a trim on the bottom, which look uneven this morning, and told the lady cut my fringe so that the shortest bit was above my eyebrows. Unfortunately I forgot to specify that I wanted my fringe to stop before it hit my cheekbone, so basically I still have my overgrown fringe but with a really odd, steep angle to it. I wanted it out of my face, but nope, still there, so I have to go get it fixed later, because for some reason I never notice these things while I'm actually in the salon. Meh.

i'm going to have to say no to the blue. no offense but it kind of makes you look like one of the x-men or something.
if you're really intent on adding colour, though, i think you'd have more luck with something in the reddish or maroon league. though maybe not that placement exactly.

The placement was fun with Paint, nothing more.

I do think I want to add some crazy color though, I'm not sure if I really particularly care if it'd make me look good or not, just for something out of the ordinary.

Phil! My advice is: Yes on the spiking, but only do it sort of on the front half. It looks a bit too much spiked all the way back. As a rule I think boys look silly with streaky different colours in their hair (unless they have a mohawk, in which case it is illegal to not have crazy colour), but if you like it then maybe you could rock a darker blue like Squiddy? I can't figure out where it would look best though.
Basically my advice is pretty useless. Sorry.

Phillipe, Phillipe, Phillipe. The saddest thing is when a guy with short spiky hair gets big chunks of colour and looks like a fool. Also his parents stop loving him.

If you're going to get colour in that spiky mess you're going to have to go subtle. And by that I mean little bits of colour all through it, as opposed to big chunky bits. Basically if you're going to a hairdresser ask for bleached highlights then get them to dye the highlights a dark blue or even a light purple.

Purple would probably suit your skin tone better than blue but I don't know if you will get people thinking you are a bit of a pansy for it.

If it's more of a plumish purple (dark), I think it'd be okay. But what Jimmy said about placement would be good. Random chunks are not so great with short hair, but more of a highlight placement would be good. I suggest you stick to the blue/purple/red area of the spectrum, though.

speaking only from my experience, i'd also recommend not adding colour at all unless you really really want to, and then maybe getting it professionally done if you can, only because your hair is so dark and the bleach will most likely kill your hair. of course, lots of people bleach their hair all the time and don't care anyway because they love the colour, so it's pretty much up to you. i was pretty shocked by the amount of damage frequent bleaching and dying did to my hair back when i was younger so it's just good to know these things beforehand.

I'm gonna vote yes on the spikes, I think, but no on the color - but I love dark hair and am not a huge fan of colored hair on most people, but on some I guess it looks good/okay.

Also, you have kind of pretty eyes.

I really want to get my hair cut again, because after finally taking the step and going to a salon my mom recommended, it wasn't too scary, and she didn't cut off enough to really make a difference. I still have long, annoying hair, just shorter around my face, which I still haven't gotten used to and find even more annoying. But I can't afford it, and going to some random hairdresser I've never even heard about is still scary.

I need help.

Ignore the face, it's the hair we're here for. Basically, I've redone the red so my hair is super ginger right now, nowhere near as dark as it looks in that picture. That gives you a good idea of the length, it's sort of hanging around my face in an uneven bob at the moment, and I need to do something with it. Thing is, I don't want too much taken off because I'm trying to grow it out. My fringe usually hangs straight down, and I prefer it like that to being parted.

What do I do with it?

Gemm, I had a similar cut a few years back.  I'm not sure how much work you like to put in, but I would use a flat iron to curl up the bottom of the layers.  It looked cute.  I think you could pull it off.  It could damage your hair if you do it often, so use a heat protection cream first if you try it.

Not liking it, I gotta say. I'm thinking a bit of a trim is in order Possibly to just layer it out or something, but its not really working for you there in my opinion, respectfully.

Was just an experiment, there is no way in hell that I'm gonna be straightening my hair on a regular basis. That us unless it turns out to be so fucking awesome that girls go weak at the knees at the very mention of my hair. I don't really see that happening anytime soon though.

I probably will just cut it all off again but i do quite like having a lot of hair. I might just get a pretty decent trim and see what happens. Normally it is pretty curly/wavy.
