i like it too! i think the problem is that that sort of hairstyle revolves pretty heavily around you not being a dick. despite the fact that i think it looks good on most dudes, i have also seen way too many dicks with hair like that (long in front, short in back) and now i am sort of conditioned. i am sure you are not a dick, though. just continue to not be a dick and your hair will continue to look rad.

Yeah your hair is your hair and it is what you've got. It's not like eating better or working out more would fix your receding hairline, so it's just a fact of life, and people are fairly OK with that. Receding hairlines can look cool but bald spots on the crown of your head look pretty lame, so remember that at least you don't have that yet.

Just remember that any hair you send to locks of love needs to be in rubber bands like little ponytails, you would probably need to have him cut those off with scissors and then buzz the rest. And for it to be used as wig hair, it needs to be 10" or more, although they also accept shorter hair, I think they sell it for other purposes to help with costs.

Can you tell I just did the same thing last month? Although mine is almost at the same length as yours is now.

Here is the thing about men with receding hairlines, and long hair: It looks god awful.

This is my boyfriend pre-us dating, and pre-st.bladricks.(which if you are gonna shave your head, maybe you should do this. You get people to give you money, and that money then goes to help cure childhood cancer!)

This is right after shaving, when I first started lusting all after him.

And this is him now, and I think he is quite possibly the most handsome man I've ever met in my entire life.

So basically, if your hair is receding, don't grow it long.

If you're worried that getting all your hair cut off will be too expensive, you could cut it off to a fair length and go to a barber to get it neatened up, if a trim is cheaper.

Do what I do: go to a nice-ish salon and go "Hey, I'm clay in your hands! I want shortish hair, go nuts!" The stylists love it and you get a trendy haircut. I mean, I only do this like 1-2 times a year, cuz I'm hella poor, but if you haven't gotten a haircut in a while, which you clearly haven't, it's worth the money. I love my hairdresser though, so I might be biased. I really have to go back sometimes this week and get him to cut my bangs!

Yeah I usually do that too when I have the money.
The past year or so I have been too poor in time and money to get proper expensive awesome haircuts so I have just been going to really cheapo places and getting trims in my lunchbreaks. On the upside, my hair has grown out to a nice length! On the downside, I am really really bummed with the way it looks. I need some texture again!
Oh well, I will find myself an awesome hairdresser again - maybe Jimmy's fantastic girlfriend who cuts Hannah's hair. I still want to take some pictures though.

Lunchy! When I got my hair cut I basically said to Lise "I want it short, other than that I don't mind" and she suggested a few things. Maybe talk to her about it? I need to organise a time to get my hair trimmed up, it's looking a bit funny these days.

Thank you! I haven't yet, but I was very careful with the clippers (I did the job myself, sup) and I managed to get probably 90% of my hair saved from a floor-dwelling fate. It's currently hanging out in a ziploc bag on my bathroom counter, and I'll send it off as I can manage it. I definitely had enough.

Ally the rest of your haircut looks super super lovely but your bangs are really uneven, not in that 'messy bang' kind of cut, but in that,"I missed this spot!" kind of cut. Is it intentional or am I missing something?
