Has to have been some sort of Greek or Mid Eastern god - the Celtic and Norse pantheons preferred horses.

Or they may have just held some sort of drunken party and ended up watching the original Wicker Man.

yay! I love that particular anders<3maria strip.

I made a prediction Angus would return, but it was more out of mere hope that he would. He's certainly one of my favorite "supporting" characters. Now, I must pray to the QC gods (Jeph) that he becomes a front-stage character.

Am I jinxing it?

And Finally, Props to Faye for using the word snail as a verb.
Actually, she charged straight through from noun to verbal: a gerund, specifically, which serves the purpose of a noun.  So in a way it's a grammatical full circle.

Yes.

My prediction is he ran this to mock the people who hope Faye and Angus will hook up, and that to drive this home Angus will not show up for another hundred strips.

Bluh...Wuh...

*perks up*  Ah!  The WTC!

*bounces her tits*

Hi everybody!  I thought I'd pop in and leave an observation that Angus looked like a soggy Wil in this comic.  Also, I think Angus must have been named after the Celtic god Oenghus, patron diety of unrequited, hopeless love.

Yes, I know what you were referencing. Spartans, however, all shipped Steve/Faye. They would've shipped Steve/Marten, but Marten is too much of an Athenian and would be the first to get thrown down the well.

How would one ship Sweet-tits and Yelling Bird? Yelling-tits, Sweet bird?

(edited to reflect the fact that Yelling bird is having a really bad day.)

Never mind.

sounds like angus just broke up with an extreme-faye....

i say that with love, i like faye

and i'm SO not for a faye/angus relationship. i used to just not like angus, then i was all for sven/faye, and now...i think i'm just holding on to the hope that sven will eventually come groveling...

Yess!  Precisely! Maybe Sven will see Faye and Angus talking and/or dating, and he will get all emo, and write a really bad country song, and sing something at Faye on karaoke night,...  :-o
* Mominator carefully puts her squeeing fangirl persona back in its box, sorry about that folks.  I'm better now.

hahaha, a woman after my own heart.....i like the idea of the bad country song....can you imagine?

well folks, what do you think the title of sven's country song about faye would/should be?

Is It Still Over

Being without you has turned out to be so inconvenient
And wishing I was with you just seems to use up all my time
You've been gone so long that it's hard to recall
Just how the dream went
And all but this broken heart in me I guess is doing fine

Chorus:
Is it still over, are we still through
Since my phone still ain't ringing I assume it still ain't you
I've half a mind to take the time to find somebody new
But I'm not too sure that I'm still over you

That lie that I tried to slip by you
Was told with good intentions
It was just another way to say I love you
And protect you from the truth
Half a pound of cure is surely worth a half an ounce of pure prevention
And trying to explain while I'm insane
Is the hardest thing I've ever tried to do

Chorus

If I repeat myself it's cause I've nothing else to do
And I'm not too sure that I'm still over you

:-D :-D That is one big-ass hawk to be able to eat Yelling Bird in one gulp.

Normally they rip the little birds apart with their SHARP GRASPING CLAWS then peck out the sweet sweet insides with that sharpety-sharp hook-beak.

I have a bird-feeder, this happens at least twice a week.   Hey... hawks have to eat too!

Is this the end of Yelling Bird?
Will he bounce back like Wile E. Coyote?
Can Jeph instead give an explanation like "Oh, yeah, they's a whole flock 'o dem dere thangs!"
How bad a case of indigestion will the hawk have?
If Yelling Bird does return, will he sweep Faye off her feet? Or steal Gotharella from Marten, clearing the field for twu wuv betwixt him and Faye?

For answers to these and still more trivial questions, Why not start a thread?

I know I won't. Thank God and Greyhound, man. Or Brownhawk, as the case may be.

Viva la Sweet-Tits!***Viva la Sweet-Tits!***Viva la Sweet-Tits!***Viva la Sweet-Tits!***Viva la Sweet-Tits!

Edit: It just occurred to me that Yelling Bird named Sweet-Tits. Now I feel guilty. A little, anyway.

I propose the notion that Yelling Bird is the most emotionally complex, most sophisticatedly-articulate, mentally stable, wise, comprehensively-characterised and meaningful character in the webcomic.

Although with what the characters have been doing recently, I'm starting to doubt this is still sarcasm
