I made a prediction Angus would return, but it was more out of mere hope that he would. He's certainly one of my favorite "supporting" characters. Now, I must pray to the QC gods (Jeph) that he becomes a front-stage character.

My prediction is he ran this to mock the people who hope Faye and Angus will hook up, and that to drive this home Angus will not show up for another hundred strips.

Hi everybody! I thought I'd pop in and leave an observation that Angus looked like a soggy Wil in this comic. Also, I think Angus must have been named after the Celtic god Oenghus, patron diety of unrequited, hopeless love.

That is one big-ass hawk to be able to eat Yelling Bird in one gulp.

Normally they rip the little birds apart with their SHARP GRASPING CLAWS then peck out the sweet sweet insides with that sharpety-sharp hook-beak.
