
Instituto Mexicano del Sonido, which my computer and GIS insists on translating to the Mexican Instute of Sound are a dude who took to reviving the style of the throroughly kitsch music of 70s mexico along with electronic music. Surprisingly he managed to make it not suck! It is humorous but not "ironic". Fun but not "oh-so-quirky". Well produced but not artificial sounding.
