Absolutely brilliant. That was amazing. I kinda wish that could be a full fledged comic, cause I'd read it consistently
Yeah, that Mario/Luigi thing was pretty good. If you think about the story behind the Mario universe it'd be great to see an authorised, well-done adult version of things. The story is kind of all over the place due to the changes in setting between games, and if you think about it with more than a surface-level, child's eye view kind of take then it's pretty fucked up. I mean, (discarding the Donkey Kong stuff where Mario is a carpenter whose monkey escapes with his girlfriend) he & his brother are a couple of plumbers that get pulled into some crazy nightmare world to save a princess/various princesses over and over from a huge turtle dragon monster, a doppelganger of himself with spiked teeth and bulging muscles, and some sort of alien overlord, and along the way they have to deal with monster mushrooms, bipedal giant turtles (some outfitted with armour and hammers), metal-spiked attack-dog things, skeletons, ghosts, sentient bombs, huge fucking cannons shooting living bullets, living bricks with spikes that want to crush the fuck out of them, fire monsters, monster jellyfish, anthropomorphic dinosaurs (including one who is perhaps transsexual), robots and aliens and undoubtedly other weird shit I can't remember.
I mean, jesus.
