Is that a severed head?

Is that Deadpool's severed head?

Where can I find a copy of that Graphic novel to buy for the library?

Yes, it was a 616/Zombie universe crossover where Deadpool finds Zombie Deadpool's head.

It's called Deadpool: The Merc with the Mouth. No GN is out yet, it's still being published.

Let's see; Spongebob, Aang's arrow from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Cloud's hair (I think), Inuyasha's sword, metal arm from Full Metal Alchemist, the Deathnote from Deathnote, pants I believe are from Miles Edgeworth from Phoenix Wright, Watchmen pin, Ben Ten's watch, a bag from Pokemon, skull mask from Bleach, Yoko's skull hair pin from Gurren Laagan, headband from Naruto, a bow from Sailor Moon, and the eyes of that Desu Desu girl

And KickThatBathProf , that was the reason I posted it, I knew people would talk about it.

I just read that on Deadpool's wikipedia page. I was not on Deadpool's wikipedia page because of this thread, it's an amusing coincidence that I learned this shortly after that comic being posted here.

I was on Deadpool's wikipedia page through a series of wikipedia-style jumps that actually started with me looking up the population of the town of Fargo, North Dakota a couple hours ago.

As a Fargo resident and as one whose hometown of 700 is mentioned in the dude's books several times (and also he once was the ump at a softball game of mine in junior high), I'd have to say I give my seal of approval to a movie based on Fargo Rock City, which Craig Finn is co-writing. Craig Finn also loves my city, I would assume, as he texts our local promoter all the time. And continues to sell out the Fargo Theatre when they come, which is often, even though they'd make more money elsewhere.

hey kids! Let's get ready to do the disappointment:

Quote
The pic will concentrate on particular portions of the book, including a chapter in which a faulty ATM dispense excessive amounts of cash to Klostermann, which both Finn and Ruprecht see as a metaphor of the gilded age and easy credit of both the 1980's and the past few years

huh

Quote
The 1980's set screenplay will revolve around a group of high school seniors facing graduation as they try to find success with women and generally break out of their geeky cocoons.

what

so in other words this is looking like being like every other one of the 200 teenage boy coming-of-age flicks that have been released the past few years. Expect Michael Cera to play Chuck.

I mean, i do like a high percentage of those films, but FRC could be way more. I still have a shred of hope because, hey, Craig Finn hasn't let me down yet, but it's just a shred.

Netflix tells me that I LIKE teenage boy coming of age stories. My guess is it'll be basically like Freaks and Geeks: The Movie maybe. Though I totally am disappointed that the music won't be as big a part of it.

(edit: Netflix is weirdly specific in genres I apparently like. "Critically-acclaimed Dark Father-Son Movies", "Witty Independent Dysfunctional-Family Movies", "Coming-of-age Children & Family Movies from the 1980s". I'm really into weird films about families I guess!)
