Pools are pretty notorious for being hot spots for getting warts. Pools, public baths, etc, that's why you wear sandals.

Yeah, I can't bend most of my back. The metal rods were put in to keep my back from moving while the bones fused, and after a year they weren't actually necessary to be in there, but they're gonna stay in there unless one of the breaks or something. In the actual x-ray you can see the thread on the bolts that are screwed into the spine, which is kinda crazy. That was...uhm... nearly 6 years ago now. Wow, it seems longer than that.
