For reference, the hair dye that is being used for Hannah actually contains the lightening agent (standard hair bleach or some sort of variant of this) so it is lifting out your natural colour and depositing the red at the same time!

I was thinking more of the old American army general guy.

Yeah, because it is super red. I thought it was funny, ionno. Also it doesn't mean "blackhead" like the way we use it; it means "black-headed", as in hair.

So, I really want to get a denim jacket like this to chuck patches etc on. Where does one purchase these? Amazon is about the price I'd be willing to pay but they don't ship outside the US.

Levi's store? Though you're probably looking at double that price if you want to buy it in person in Australia. It's worth a look though, sometimes they have deals.

Industrie have some stuff kind of like that. There's a few stores in Newtown we could have a look at next week. I don't know why I'm telling you this over the forums, as you're sitting right next to me so I'll probably turn slightly to the left and tell you after I hit post.

Hey dudes, here is my boyfreund. Is this stuff good for going to my cousin's wedding next weekend? He wanted a black jacket so he could have a "suit" and I told him that was dumb unless he got a real suit with matching pieces. Also, I was thinking about a solid bright purple tie, but then I found this blue one. His beard will be blue again tomorrow, so is that too much blue or is it good?

Bonus: what I wore last weekend to go to the bridal shower

Yr dude's outfit looks fine but if he is blue bearding then maybe a dark tie would look better.

while we're on glasses (i guess we're not really on glasses anymore but while we're still on the same page, at least), i really want these now but like it's definitely not going to happen on account i bought new glasses only four months ago and i really love my glasses and there is absolutely no way i can justify spending the money on another pair when the only reason is that i really love these glasses too, i love them so much. i guess i'll just keep lusting and pawing at my computer screen until 20 months have passed and my student coverage pays for them again. one day, glasses, once day. i'll put you on my face

I am the same way Tania. I bought my new glasses in February or something? But I don't like them any more, I think the black is too dark for the rest of my face and I really liked the way my old big frames sat on my face and all that.
I have been trying to wear contacts like I said I would  but my eyes are super sensitive and dry out like immediately, especially if I wear them to work. :(

Count me in as well. Got my new glasses a little under a year ago and really the only reason I want new ones is just because I want something from Warby Parker. Don't even matter too much what.

I love my glasses. I love that I have my regular pair and a second, slightly larger pair for when I want to covertly influence people into thinking that I'm intelligent and capable (or for when someone tells me of an exciting plan).

Suck it, you guys.

The boots i posted a page or so back arrived today!

They... fit perfectly, albeit a touch too tall (they come to the middle of my knee). I can't see this being a problem when the leather softens up a bit.

HOWEVER, the zippers do not stay zipped, which could just be because the boots were folded in the box. Also two of the eyelets for lacing popped off and luckily I caught all of the bits. I can just glue those back on.

I've emailed the site I bought them from to ask if there is anything they can do in regards to the zipper or whatever, but everything their site says about international returns involves me having to pay for shipping. Given that the package weighs about 7lbs/3.5ish-kg, that is going to cost me a stupid amount of money. If that is going to be the case i will probably take them to a cobbler or something to see if they can deal with the zippers.

I am making a bright blue flower for my hair. The shoes were my mom's suggestion, actually (and she bought them for me!), and they are coincidentally the bride's favourite colour.
