This weekend was crazy, and great, and awesome, and terrible, and wonderful, all in one.
Animal Collective was alright. I waited for two hours to see them, and ended up being two people away from the stage. I got covered in paint, and had a blast, and then got squished, and started feeling horribly ill, so I had to fight my way out of the crowd. So yeah. I can't say I was disappointed buy a single band there. I ran into the singer of Glasvegas on my way back to the hotel. We chatted a bit and he gave me two kisses. Oh, guys with accents. Sigh. Boys Noize was mindblowingly amazing. So fucking good. My boyfriend had no idea who he was beforehand, and was only begrudgingly going because we were having a terrible fucking day(our ride was threatening to ditch us. in Chicago. Without a way home. Long story. We didn't do anything. Dude got in a fight with his wife.), and about three seconds into being at Boys Noize, my boyfriend was in heaven. He loved it. And he danced his ass off. And I recorded every second of it. It is fucking adorable. We got some great pictures of the bands.
Were you there yesterday? It was all rainy and muddy but my fiancee still enjoyed it.
Yeah, I was there all weekend. The rainy muddiness was the best part, because the next two days were hellishly hot. Coupled with long lines to get water. So the rain was welcomed, because I knew we wouldn't be that lucky all weekend.
Also, Emaline, good to see you back.
Thanks.

Memorial service is tomorrow.
Wish me luck. I don't think it's dawned on me fully yet. I hope I don't go to pieces in front of everyone.
Good luck, man. I hope things go well. Remember, sometimes its ok to cry. Nobody would fault your for it.
Guys, I am super proud of my boyfriend. He does cancer research, and recently a paper he worked on was published in
The New England Journal Of Medicine. The BBC even wrote an
article about it!
Here is a screencap of the article on google. I am so super proud of him!
