Apparently I've been sober for way too long. Poured myself some whiskey and water, took a small sip, and almost had to pick myself up off the floor.

Apparently there are many downsides to swearing off sodas, because I have nothing to mix with my liquor now

I drink mostly Rum. Rum is good in all manner of juice concoctions, mango/orange/pineapple etc. It is good in iced green tea with this Sobe green tea and mint stuff ( a bit like a Mojito) actually they whole Sobe line up it pretty good with rum. I usually drink it with peach iced tea, because there is always a pitcher of it in the fridge.

Definitely! I thought it was a pipe dream that I did work that I actually enjoyed, with a small office full of very nice people, in the capital city/great area of the country, and to top it off, would go and have a few cold ones on a Friday night.

Lo and behold, it did happen. I just wish this was my 'real' job...(but it's pretty good even for £0.00)

Define "good". I can't stand dry wines. Light, slightly sweet, preferably somewhat fruity. Big fan of Liebfraumilchs and White Zins.

Carl, I like those too - but I also like dry white wine sometimes. I prefer red really, but bad red is far worse than bad white and since all the college I eat at sells is white, I drink more of that.

Definitely a wine drinker here, and I'm not one for dry wines. Reds and honey wine are my preference, unless the white is mellow.

There's a cheap honey wine that I get from the local Meijer (for those unfamiliar, it's a Walmart clone with stores in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and parts of Illinois and Tennessee). Usually it's between $6-8 a bottle. However, half a bottle is almost invariably wasted, since I never drink enough to finish it.

I was mad at humans for being like they are. Then Stephen and I went out for drinks, which is rare.

Then we came back in for drinks, cause that costs a lot less (though fuck, 1.50 wells on sat nights at this place. fucking score, that is, cheap liquor)
