Mogwai- Kids Will Be Skeletons.
Argh, I'm getting complete withdrawal from my music collection as I'm at home from uni for a week and thus seperated from my lovely nice computer full of mp3s and instead stuck with a slow laptop that has no hd space.

I just picked up EElS With Strings Live at Town Hall (the disc, not the DVD), and am currently on one psychotic interpretation of Flyswatter. I love it.

Nightwish - I Wish I Had an Angel (Demo Version)

Hey, it's a really cool tune, it's just basically Nightwish trying to be like Rammstein, that's all...

I really like the entire album Once, actually.

I get a feeling that I'll be listening to a lot more Nightwish over the coming days and weeks, as I've finally got a girlfriend, and she has typical modern girly gawth tastes. Cradle of Filth, Nightwish and HIM.

I'll be working on her.

If you don't get her off HIM before long, your penis may fall off. Just an advance warning.

I've been repeating Fugazi's Red Medicine and Repeater for like three hours now. I'm really surprised that I enjoy Fugazi. The songs just sound really good in the context of its album, I don't think I'd like them at all if I only had a couple of their songs.

It's really weird. I can't pick out what I like about them, there's just some hypnotically addicting quality about it.

Also, whilst I take your advice into account, though this may not be a popular opinion to voice around here, people do have qualities other than musical taste which can be used to construct judgements about them.

Queensryche is awesome, but cheese-tastical.  I saw 'em open for Priest, and that was a fun show.  Of course, after you've seen Dio live, there's really no where else you can go but less cheesy (though, my friend saw Blind Guardian at our hometown, which I missed, but what I really hate him for is that he saw Nightwish).  Well, I suppose you can go to Rhapsody or Manowar.

I saw Dio in '03 with Maiden and Motorhead.  It was awesome.  Oddly enough, the fates seemed to conspire to let me see the Priest/Ryche show.  I usually worked the afternoon/evening shift at my summer job, except for one day, the day of that show.

Kenziner - Race With Time
