Again, he was just joking, lol. As a guy who's lost jobs due to his mohawk, he knows better than most about tolerance for taste. Doesn't mean he can't poke fun. ;)
But, yes, I know plenty of people who are d*cks about stuff like music and fashion. "OMG I can't believe you listen to that shit u need some metal man Ozzie's so funny he's like drunk all the time and gets women, and then his wife is like, BAM, but anyway, you're a homo, indie-music boy!"

Further following Jeph's Top 20 of 2005, I hit Sufjan Steven's Illinois. I can't stand it. It grinds at my core the same way that Ace of Base's "Sign" does. It's like a big, fat splinter in my soul, begging to be removed, itching and annoying until you finally break down and hit the stop button.
Maybe I'll try again later, though.

Indie.... it's been mentioned lots of times im sure but you can't go wrong with Soft Bulletin by the Flaming Lips.
