My biggest dissapointment was that I didn't get to see Soulwax or Mars Volta because of clashes

Mars Volta were really good, they sounded fantastic, and it wasn't that packed so we got a really good place.

--- Quote from: Dinnes ---I didn't go to the one in Sydney, but I've got my ticket for Adelaide next Friday. I can't wait, Youth Group and The Subways are the two acts that I want to see the most. Youth Group have a really amazing album, but I have never seen them live so it will be good to see how they perform.

Youth group sounds really really good live, I didn't get to see them cause I was camping out for a good place for the Subways, but they sounded awesome.

normz:
the line up this year wasnt good enough to warrant a road trip and all but i had several mates who still went and loved it (even if the bands are crap festivals are still awesome right?)

Inlander:
I can actually hear it from my house right now - it's only a few blocks away.  But the line-up just isn't that exciting this year: I don't like Franz Ferdinand, I wouldn't have minded seeing Iggy & the Stooges but I can live without it, and I'm seeing the Go! Team do a stand-alone gig in a few days' time.

Youth Group are great live, but I've only seen them in a fairly small venue.  I'm not sure how well they'd translate to a festival stage.

Gryff:
I loved Sleater-Kinney best of all. After listening to The Woods loads over the last couple of months it was awesome to see practically the whole thing done live.

Bands who also rocked my world were the Greenhornes, The Go! Team, The Magic Numbers and the White Stripes (of course). Iggy was cool just 'cause he was Iggy, but I was a bit disappointed that The Stooges didn't play anything off Raw Power.

Franz was pretty good but a bit lacking in energy (I admit that this could also have been because I was miles away from the stage).
