It's been a couple of weeks since we posted, so we thought it'd be good to do some housekeeping. The next class pack will focus on the Sniper. It's actually shaping up to be the largest TF2 update yet, with multiple new maps and a bunch of gameplay tweaks. In addition, we've got another update in the works that should be done before the Sniper, and that one will include some new content for all classes.(emphasis mine)

Can we assume that this post counts as any and every Pulp fiction reference we can make?

I'm betting there will be a curve.
"Now, hold on," you might be thinking. "I'm strong, but no one could throw an arrow that hard."
I bet the velocity, damage and curve is affected by the charge-up.
also today's item is very, very avesome.
So you get protection from those pesky spies, but you can't really fight back? Well, it's better than instant death, I guess.
Holy shit, today's thing.I shat so many bricks. But my avatar completely expresses my views about this update.
It's safe to say that the 360 will get the updates much later, bundled, and may have a pricetag attached thanks to M$.
I'm not sure there was ever a time I found your mom jokes funny. Not a judgement, just sayin'. It kinda sucks, actually, since that means a good 60% of voicechat communication is completely lost on me.
I think they should rearrange the demoman's weapons so the sticky launcher is the primary.
God.
And when I get more points than I have ever gotten the very first time I play engineer, does this mean that engineers are really good, that I suck at everything else, that I was lucky, or something completely different?

Maps with a lot of chokepoints play well for pyros, demos and heavies and are difficult for snipers and scouts, while wide-open maps are the opposite. There's a particular map, a control-point map (where there are 5 possible, you start off with 1 and have to capture the rest) in which you can rack up 40 or 50 kills minimum in a single life as an engineer just by placing your sentry in a particular spot, making it an unavoidable defense of the control point, one that's invulnerable against everything but ubered enemies (which itself should be a problem with a good coordinated defense)
Nothing quite like getting an engi into a 2Fort enemy base, teleporting in 3 other engis and creating an unassailable defense in their intel room.

Is it really worth the effort?
Puzzling... (http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=3219)
It's like someone is trying to explain why the colour red is his favourite food to me in spanish.
On the other hand maybe they had three unlocks they really liked and couldn't decide which one to drop.
Demos are gonna win this so hard though :(. Every time it's been soldiers vs demos it's been demos camping soldiers back into their spawn. Area denial is much, much more useful than straight up combat ability. 5cp maps are playing much better than those awful goldbowl maps but finding a server running them is tough.
Soldiers are leading by 200,000.
As opposed to the class that just requires you to lay landmines and wait for someone to come around the corner? With as much as people get thrown around by rockets, you really have to aim if they aren't coming straight at you through a hallway. I actually was really sucking when I went back on day before yesterday, had to switch to scout because I just wasn't able to juggle anybody after my time not playing, and the mouse sensitivity just wasn't quite right.Soldiers are leading by 200,000.
Soldier's gonna win this one because the class is so easy to play. Just space bar and shoot at the ground over and over and over again.
Update's out, sollys win by a tiny margin. They score boots that save them some selfdamage when jumping. Not too useful (not worth the loss of the shotgun) but good for dicking around I'm sure.
I really question the balance of demos getting up to having the second biggest amount of hp, the second fastest speed, explosive and fire resistances and a free gtfo out button every ten seconds. You can't avoid melee with them and you have no chance to get out of it once you're there and unless you're a kgb heavy they're probably better at it than you are.
I've been thinking for a while that an engi update might be the most difficult to balance, and have wondered if they would bother with one at all.Don't worry, they haven't really bothered with balance for a while now.
Didn't they just nerf it into the ground like last week?
Just consider it a reverse of the real Australia: all Australians here are intelligent, pleasant, civilized people, but Australia is a place where technology is shunned and distrusted by the government forcing the people into a Luddite nightmare.
(Or it's just ****ing hilarious. Also of note: look on the last page. Radigan Conagher built three immortality machines but the last name is obscured. What's going on?)
What distresses me is that out there some people have vintage vintage tyroleans and merriweathers and those people are not me.
